Greetings, Tsukino-Con enthusiasts, I hope that Christmas, Hanukkah and Bah Humbug day were great for all of you! For the super keeners among you who would like to help spread word of the convention, we've got a copy of our poster up for download below. Feel free to print it in colour or black and white. (Make sure to ask before putting it up around school and such!)

Secondly, we've got this year's parental consent form up for download right here. You only need to get this form signed by your parent if you're 14 and under. If you're under 11, a parent must sign you in at registration, and you must be accompanied by an individual of 18 years or older at all times during the convention.

Thirdly, Tsukino-Con is looking for panels, contests and events! If you are interested in running one of these, please fill out our handy online event submission form and our coordinator will get back to you as soon as possible!

Last, but not least! Though our 20% off promotion has now ended, we are still offering 10% off registration online. Remember, the best part of pre-registration isn't the few bucks you save, but all the time in line you don't have to spend! Sound good? "Register Now!"

What better way to show your fellow anime lover you care, or, to indoctrinate the unsuspecting, than to get them a pass to Tsukino-Con? Until Christmas, you'll get 20% off registration fees, and, better yet, you can avoid the worst of the Friday lineup! Not only can you get in line a half hour earlier on Friday if you've pre-registered, but you can even pick up your pass on Thursday night, avoiding the Friday lines altogether!

Already registered? Are you a real keener? If so, you may be interested in Tsukino-Con's new Gold Pass! So, what makes the Gold Pass special? First of all, you get front-of-line access and preferred seating at all contests and events during the convention. Second, you get early access to the dealer's hall - getting in a full half-hour earlier than everyone else. Finally, you get the perk of being able to customize the image on your badge to your liking! Interested? You'd better act fast, because we're limiting our first run of Gold Passes to only 25, yes, twenty-five people! (Note: If you've already registered and wish to upgrade to the Gold Pass, please contact the Convention Chairperson directly via our "Contact" page, as we have not yet integrated an upgrade function into MangaBullet) So, pre-register now, and make the holiday season just a little brighter for the ones you love! (It's ok to love yourself, too)

We have a room for the first volunteer information meeting! Apologies for the delay and the short notice, but we have confirmed a booking for room 104 of the Engineering and Computer Sciences building on UVic campus, November 30th from 7pm-9pm. We sincerely hope to see people out there, as it will be a time to go over the expectations, policies, introductions of staff, various jobs that might be asked of volunteers, and a question and answer period. We would also like to make note of the fact that we are currently looking to modify our volunteer registration system so that we no longer have to worry about snail mail and email for the forms. At this point in time the new system is not yet built, but we expect it to be completed within the next few weeks. We will however keep the current PDF form on the website if you wish to look at the sort of information we will be asking for.

Guess what guys? The volunteer application form is now up and posted in PDF format on the website. You can find it at the top of the Volunteer page.

"Hey! Hey you! Yeah, I'm talking to you! Tsukino-Con 2011 Pre-registration is up and ready for you to save money with! Just how much money? 20%! How much money is that? I don't know, but it's got to be at least 4 slurpees worth! This is a limited-time special, so pre-register "NOW!"
